OUR STORY

Already a keen allotmenteer, I grow our own veggies from which we make tangy chutneys as the perfect accompaniment to cheese wheels and carrots for our tasty carrot cakes. We grow as much fruit as possible to make our own preserves. We buy only the best local organic free-range eggs, not just to bake our lovely cakes with, but also to make tangy fruit curd. Wherever possible, we use our own produce but when we are unable, we try to resource locally.

We might not have been around for long, but in a short time have achieved quite a lot. We have been invited to take part in several wedding shoots, James Bond and The Wizard of Oz for the Three Counties Wedding Magazine, Whitney Court which was featured in the popular national Wedding Ideas Magazine, and a fantastic shoot at Arley Arboretum. We have also been invited to write an article about autumnal and winter wedding cakes, and flavours for the Matrimony Magazine. We have been nominated for wedding industry awards, winning the Herefordshire Dan Marshall Award for Creativity in 2017, and achieved the overall winner for Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire in the wedding cakes category in 2018.

We continue to grow as a small cottage industry and now, as well as wedding cakes, we provide gift ranges, muffins, cupcakes and dessert cakes for celebrations. We never take for granted just how lucky we are to gain our customers' business.
